How it works?

How Scan&Paste works

Scan&Paste Business

Scan&Paste Business version allows you to create your own configurations containing forms and scenarios. There might be many modules e.g. pictures, audio, video, texboxes, checkboxes, OCR and others included in the form. Those configuration one may distribute to other users (via e-mails, a card with a code) who will read them to their Scan&Paste apps. From that moment they might fill in the forms and send them to the configuration storage. These data introduced by the users you may view after you log in on the Scan&Paste portal or implement with the help of API in your application. Remember about data being available for only 7 days from the moment they land on the platform.

How get it started?

Register your own account.

After you register you will receive an activation link on your e-mail account, you will also get 10 credits to use and test the Scan&Paste platform.

Log in
Create your own configuration and add your logo.
Create any number of forms.

Create any number of forms containing any combinations of modules you need.

Test the configuration.

In a mobile Scan&Paste application add a new configuration by scanning ‘Configuration ID’ from your user panel and check if all the forms you have created look and behave as you expected.

Distribute configuration ID.

Distribute configuration ID among people, who you would like to have access to configuration.

How to view the data introduced?

There are two ways of doing it:
Viewing them in the www client's panel.

After login in the Scan&Paste Business move to configuration and choose the Bundles button.

Using API.

Second option is to use API we share with you.

  • In the client's panel choose your configuration.
  • Go into Configuration Access Key section and generate your own access key to your configuration.
  • Visit the page describing our API and use it in your application.

FAQ

What ‘Bundle’ is?

Bundle is nothing more than just a form filled with data, which you can view as the configuration owner or consume in your software.

How can I identify the users using my configuration?

While creating configuration you may define the field 'User info' which will contain the question to the user while reading the configuration, e.g. 'What is your name'?, “What is your telephone number?', etc..

What if the user who has read the configuration will upload unwanted items?

Being the owner of the configuration you may ban such user. Since then they will not be able to upload anything to your configuration. It can be easily done! In the client's panel in a given configuration we click 'Users” we search 'User info' or 'Device ID' from the list and click on the shut padlock.

Is there only one 'Configuration Access Key' for a given configuration?

For each configuration you may generate any number of 'Configuration Access Key'. If you own for example 20 departments which use your Scan&Paste integrated software you can use 20 unique 'Configuration Acces Keys'- one for each of them. It allows you to act as you wish- you can ban or delete Configuration Access Key data in a given moment which will result in a given department not having an access to your Scan&Paste configuration.

What are the credits in Scan&Paste Business version?

Each of the modules used in the forms is valued in credits. When you create or edit a form, you see the cost of each scenario on the screen. The credits are being charged from you only once, during the first reading of each bundle on www or by API. The cost of the form created is always the same no matter if you filled all of the modules or used only one.
